You are invited to come join the fun Halloween day and take part in the first annual Sunset Beach Paddle Fest. We have a full day of events and activities individuals and families lined up to celebrate Halloween and the fall season. Enjoy a great day of delicious food, children's games and activities, live entertainment all day starting bright and early with a kayak and paddleboard race.

Kayak & Paddleboard Races

Competitive paddleboard and kayak racers can win prizes valued at over $2,000 and challenge themselves with a competitive 5.25 mile race in the back-water marshes of Sunset Beach and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Competitive racers, please  Click Here To Register.  We offer reasonable race fees and each racer receives a Sunset Beach Paddle Fest official t-shirt and a voucher for breakfast and lunch.

Later in the day, fun-loving kayakers can dress up in their most bizarre costume and take part in the Costume Paddle Sprint. The roughly 200 yard sprint will be judged by race time and costume, with the winner taking home bragging rights for the full year.
